Dumbarton's MSP has lodged a motion in Scottish Parliament congratulating an Alexandria brewery on securing a new deal with a supermarket.
Jackie Baillie's motion praises Loch Lomond Brewery for its new deal with Asda, which will see the chain stock their craft beer "in 53 of its stores across Scotland".
It also notes that the brewery was established by husband and wife team Euan and Fiona MacEachern, and employs a small team in Alexandria and that the politician hopes that the brewery can "continue to build on its huge success and wishes the team all the best for the future".
Loch Lomond Brewery started life in the couple's kitchen in Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond.
This desire to brew beer and create a family business which the whole family could be involved in led to them getting started in 2011 in Alexandria.
