Residents enjoying The Phoenix's grand re-opening last year
The Phoenix in Dumbarton is hosting its first community day this month.
The community centre has played a vital role in bringing together people in Castlehill and surrounding areas since it re-opened in November.
The centre said: “We love celebrating our community here in Dumbarton West. So, we’re super excited to be hosting our first Community Day at The Phoenix.”
Read more: The Phoenix in Dumbarton offers free back to school haircutsThey are inviting locals to join them between 12pm and 4pm on August 24 for the event, which will feature a bouncy castle, kids’ corner, information stalls, archery, tombola, face painting, glitter tattoos, a tin can alley and much more. The community cafe will also be open.
