St Patrick’s Youth Club in Dumbarton enjoyed an activity-packed weekend at Ardoch in Gartocharn recently.
Thankfully the youngsters, who went with athletic club Shettleston Harriers, were able to enjoy the trip after some stormy weather forecast for the weekend failed to materialise.
The club members took part in all sorts of indoor and outdoor activities during the trip.
The joint event with the Glasgow-based athletic club, who are coached by Alex, the husband of St Patrick’s Youth Club leader Jackie Mackay, was started four years ago.
The youth club leaders thanked the Ardoch Foundation for the weekend, their great facilities and food, as well as the National Lottery Community Fund who have helped the youth club with many activities this year.
