WINDOWS of two different homes were vandalised recently after bricks were reportedly thrown at them.
Officers are now appealing for information after the incidents, which took place on Sunday, September 1, at Hillfoot Avenue.
Mo Boyle, community policing inspector at Dumbarton, said: “This was a despicable act which caused considerable alarm to the two older people who live in the homes which were targeted.
“We have been carrying out local enquiries and are keen to trace two teenage boys who were seen throwing bricks and ran off from the area when they were disturbed by a local resident.”
The boys are described as being around the age of 14 - and were last seen heading towards Stoneyflatt Road.
One was wearing shorts and carrying a “duffel” bag.
Anyone with information is asked to contact 101.
