TWO women have pleaded guilty to breaking into an Alexandria home and stealing items including perfume, toys and a handbag.
Lynn McNicol and Ashley Mundie admitted the charges at a hearing at Dumbarton Sheriff Court (pictured above) last week.
McNicol, of Whiteford Avenue, Dumbarton, and Mundie, listed as a prisoner of Polmont, broke into a home in Craig Avenue, Alexandria, on January 29 this year.
They stole a quantity of clothing and footwear, a quantity of purses, a handbag and a bag with perfume and toys.
Defence solicitor Kenny Clark, acting for 30-year-old Mundie, said her last two convictions had been dealt with using community payback orders - and she had broken both.
He said: “She knows she will amost certainly face a custodial sentence.”
Lauren Kerr, acting for 34-year-old McNicol, said her client’s record was “very limited”.
Sheriff Frances McCartney deferred sentence until October 1 for reports to be prepared and for Sheriff William Gallacher to hear the case.
