Teams from across Dumbarton and the Vale battled it out last week in the Active Schools dodgeball competition.
P4 pupils from St Kessog’s, St Patrick’s, Dalreoch, Braehead, Knoxland, St Peter’s, Aitkenbar, and St Michael’s dodged, ducked and dived their way to victory at the Clydebank Leisure Centre.
The tournament was held in a round-robin format, meaning each school had the chance to square up against each other before attempting to put the opposition players out by throwing plastic balls at them.

Teams were made up with five boys and five girls from each school, with each trying to score the most points they could from the best of five matches.
The event encourages both increased physical activity and teamwork amongst the youngsters, some of whom were enjoying their first taste of the Active Schools festival.
Final results will be announced next week, with two teams from last week’s action progressing to the final, which takes places on Tuesday, November 26, at Clydebank Leisure centre.
