A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been reported to the procurator fiscal after a car crashed into a cottage near Helensburgh at the weekend.
Police attended the scene after receiving a call at around 2.50am on Saturday, November 9, reporting that a car had driven in to the cottage at the Cross Keys roundabout on the A818.
Firefighters received a call shortly after 4am and attended the scene to make it safe.
Dramatic photographs showed the car, apparently a BMW X5, sticking out of the cottage, and a boundary wall at the property partially destroyed.

It is understood that the cottage is a holiday property and that no-one was in the house at the time.
No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.
