Police Scotland's helicopter was over Balloch Country Park earlier today following reports of a "man acting suspiciously".

The force chopper was scrambled at around 1pm after cops received information from the public about the man's alleged behaviour.

Officers are still searching the area, but no further details have been released at the moment.

The park is a huge 200-acre space on the southern tip of Loch Lomond.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers in Balloch were called to reports of a man acting suspiciously in Balloch Country Park around 1pm on Thursday, November 21, 2019.

“A police helicopter was deployed to assist in locating the man.

"Enquires into the incident are on-going.”
