LABOUR'S general election candidate Jean Anne Mitchell has apologised for sharing a message with supporters that was anti-semitic.
Ms Mitchell was sent a post criticising the BBC's Nick Robinson during a debate for being "biased". It then blamed it on the fact he was in a Conservative association while in university in the 1980s and for being Jewish.
The message in WhatsApp said Mr Robinson gave Prime Minister Boris Johnson an "easy time" and "free reign to attack Corbyn".
It said they then Goggled Mr Robinson and cited his mother's German-Jewish parents.
"That makes him Jewish," reads the message.

On Twitter, Ms Mitchell said: "I want to apologise unreservedly for forwarding a message, which I hadn't read fully. I only glanced at the opening part about media bias, and did not see the anti-semitic rhetoric beneath that.
"Claiming that someone's Jewish heritage means they have some kind of agenda is clearly anti-semitic and unacceptable.
"When I read the full content, I was mortified. These were neither my words nor my views and I deeply regret this genuine mistake. I have informed the person who sent this to me that the message is extremely offensive and I want nothing further to do with them."
