ARE you an artistic young person – or do you know someone who is?
Then a new series of art classes aimed specifically at children and teenagers could be just the thing.
Helensburgh Art Club has launched three new weekly sessions aimed at bringing out the inner artist in the area’s young people.

The hub, in West Clyde Street, offers a ‘Wee Warhols’ class for children aged from six years old every Saturday from 1-2.30pm, and a ‘Young Da Vincis’ session, for those aged 10 and above, each Thursday from 4-5.30pm.
And for young people aged 13-17, there’s a ‘Thank Frida It’s Friday’ session taking place every Friday afternoon, also from 4-5.30pm.
All the classes are led by expert artists, and are part of a busy – and expanding – programme at the not-for-profit hub, which is run as a social enterprise and combines space for classes and workshops in a variety of media with room for exhibitions of work by local artists.
