HERMITAGE Park will play host to a special event this weekend as part of the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch project.
The Friends of Hermitage Park are organising the event, from 12.30-1.30pm this Saturday, January 25, as part of the nation’s biggest wildlife survey – and they need your help.

Fiona Baker, chair of the Friends, said: “This is the first bird count in the park, and the results will be an important baseline as we hope the number of birds and other wildlife will increase in the newly planted park.
“Experienced bird watchers will be there to help you identify the birds and hand out and collect the counting forms, which will be provided.”
