WEST DUNBARTONSHIRE has been revealed as one of the worst places to live in Scotland.
The area was ranked 27th out of 32 local authorities in this year’s Bank of Scotland Quality of Life Survey.
Despite being close to the bottom, West Dunbartonshire moved up one place since last year when it was ranked 28th.
Meanwhile, Orkney Islands took the top spot, and Glasgow the worst.
The annual research takes into consideration 26 different factors that homebuyers consider when choosing a place to live.
And for the first time this year, the research also takes into account how important these factors are to people looking to find the perfect property, with affordability, safety and access to parks and green spaces all proving most essential according to UK adults.
