Dumbarton's High Street will remain closed for up to 21 days due to a dangerous chimney.
West Dunbartonshire Council confirmed High Street will be closed to all traffic from Monday, February 10 for up to 21 days, with a diversion route through Riverside Lane.
Despite yesterday's announcement that a section was closed to pedestrians, access will now continue as normal.
A Met office Yellow weather warning for wind and snow is still in place across Dumbarton and the Vale as horrendous weather conditions continue to batter the country.
Storm Ciara has caused issue with local flooding, particularly at Posties Park, and the River Leven also burst its banks.
Train services throughout the area have so far continued to be largely unaffected however travellers are encouraged to continuously check for any updates via the relevant websites.
