Clydebank’s youngest politician has been nominated for two top awards next month.

Hayley Paku, who represents the area as a member of the Scottish Youth Parliament and is a Clydebank Post columnist, is a finalist as “one to watch” and “MSYP of the year”.

The Scottish Youth Parliament Awards, hosted by presiding officer of the Scottish Parliament Ken Macintosh MSP, will be held in March.

Also nominated is Dylan Murdoch, who represents Dumbarton, up for “communicator of the year”.
