Police are appealing to residents to help trace a missing a 45-year-old man who was last seen at a Dumbarton train station.

George Sutherland was last seen at 8.45pm on Sunday, March 8, near to Dalreoch Train Station in West Bridgend, Dumbarton.

He has not been in contact with friends or family since that date.

George is described as white, 6'2" tall, slim build and has short grey/white hair. When last seen, he was wearing a dark jacket, light coloured top and jeans.

Inspector John Forrest, from Dumbarton Police Office, said:β€œIt is unusual for George not to be in contact with friends or family and his family are becoming increasingly anxious.

"We would appeal for anyone who knows George, or has any idea where he may have gone, to come forward and contact us.

"We would also appeal to George himself to come forward and let his family or the Police know he is okay.”
