WEST Dunbartonshire Council has urged school pupils to keep up their efforts online while schools are closed.
An array of digital resources has been developed for pupils to ensure they can continue to learn even though the school is out for summer.
Pupils will be able to use Google Classroom and class blogs to continue their schoolwork.
For senior pupils the coursework will count towards their final SQA estimates, which combined with coursework assessed externally by the SQA, will determine final marks.

Councillor Karen Conaghan, convener of educational services, said: “This situation is unprecedented and I am extremely grateful to our teaching and support staff who have worked together so efficiently to put a plan in place which means our young people can carry on learning.
“There are vast resources available for our pupils online so I would encourage them all, and in particular, the senior pupils whose online coursework over the coming weeks will count towards final grades, to work with continued focus and motivation.”
