POLICE are treating the sudden death of a woman in Dumbarton as "unexplained".
The body of the 47-year-old was recovered from a Westcliff home yesterday afternoon.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Officers were made aware of the sudden death of a 47-year-old woman within a property at Westcliff in Dumbarton around 5.15pm on Wednesday, April 1.
"The death is being treated as unexplained, pending the outcome of a post-mortem enquiry.
"A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course."
