Brian Porteus has been missing from his home in Hamilton for two weeks.

The 80-year-old was last seen in his home in Woodburn Court on Saturday morning, March 21.

When he was last seen he was wearing a dark green hooded coat, navy chino style trousers, a short-sleeved white and navy checked shirt and brown suede walking shoes.

Despite being mobile for his age, concerns are growing for his wellbeing.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may know Brian and to find out if he had talked about visiting them recently.

Sergeant Sharon Priestley, of Hamilton Police Station, said: “We are asking anyone who may know something about Brian’s movements in the last couple of weeks to get in touch.

"He may have talked about going to visit someone or about taking a trip.

“Anyone with information which might help us find Brian should call us on 101, quoting incident 2985 of 21 March.”
