Please consider supporting the Reporter in whatever way you can – by paying just 85p for a copy of the paper, when you're shopping for essential supplies for yourself and others, or by subscribing to our e-edition here.

A DISTILLER based in Alexandria has produced a further 25,000 bottles of hand sanitiser to help in the battle against Covid-19 – and is calling on local organisations and frontline services to get in touch if they need more supplies.
The latest batch is the second that the Loch Lomond Group has produced at its sites on the Lomond Estate and in Catrine, Ayrshire, and has been made in line with World Health Organisation guidelines containing 80 per cent alcohol.
Colin Matthews, CEO, Loch Lomond Group said: “We distributed several thousand bottles in our first batch of hand sanitiser at the beginning of April to over 150 organisations.
"We know demand is still incredibly strong and we took the decision to complete a further batch which is now ready to be donated.
"We are currently accepting email requests, and I would invite any organisations in need to get in touch with us.”
