TWO MEN and a woman will be appearing in court today following a “significant” drugs bust in Whitecrook over the weekend.

Cops found cannabis worth a total estimated value of £30,000 along with a five-figure sum of cash in Henderston Street, following a "proactive operation".

Police say that the recovery, that took place at around 9.45am on Saturday, May 16, is linked with “serious and organised crime”.

Two men, both aged 25 and a 31-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection and are expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, May 18.

DCI‎ Ogilivie Ross said: “This was a significant recovery linked with serious and organised crime within Clydebank.

"I want to reassure people that we will continue to use every tool at our disposal to remove organised crime from the community.

“Our work relies on the support of the pubic and we would continue to ask anyone who has any information or concerns about drug misuse to contact Police Scotland on 101 or report anything anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.”
