PHARMACY staff and police officers in Clydebank have been subjected to abuse while out working during the coronavirus lockdown.
In two separate incidents, members of the public have allegedly acted maliciously towards the key workers.
On May 11, at a Lloyds Pharmacy on Kilbowie Road, a 39-year-old man was allegedly being abusive to staff and customers by shouting and swearing. He was asked to leave but continued to act aggressively before police were called.
The man then allegedly attempted to spit at officers and resisted arrest. He was taken to Clydebank police office and held to appear in court.
A few days later, on May 14, a 49-year-old man was arrested from a Lloyds Pharmacy on Dumbarton Road, Dalmuir.

Police were contacted after the man was sleeping inside the chemist, and when officers arrived he allegedly became abusive towards them.
He was released to appear in court.
