Construction work has resumed on the new Renton campus which was halted in March due to the pandemic.
The £15.1million project received the go-ahead to resume after the Scottish Government’s announcement that the construction industry could re-start as part of Phase 2 lockdown easing.
The site’s plan will see a new primary school, language and communication unit and a Riverside early learning and childcare centre built.
Councillor Iain McLaren, convenor of infrastructure, regeneration and economic development, said: "Our priority now is to see a controlled and safe environment for everyone working on the site.”
The education centre was due to be operational by the start of the school year in August 2021 and no information about a delay has been given.
