BIRTH registrations for Clydebank new-borns has recommenced, according to West Dunbartonshire Council.
A staggered approach will be taken to ensure families are treated fairly, and to ensure WDC have the appropriate resources to tackle the birth registration backlog.
Registrations will be conducted at the council’s Dumbarton office.
To register a child’s birth, contact 01389 738350 only if the child was born before March 31, 2020.

A post on the local authority’s Facebook page read: “Please DO NOT contact us if you had your baby after March 31.
“Further updates will soon be provided for those who have had babies born in April, May and June.”
