THE McDonald's restaurant in Dumbarton has taken a step closer to a 'new normal' with the re-opening of its sit-in dining area.
The service, introduced at the restaurant at the St James Retail Park on Wednesday, July 22, follows the re-opening of the popular fast-food restaurant for takeaway, drive thru and delivery over the past seven weeks as lockdown measures ease.
The restaurant says that social distancing measures will be in place, and to prevent congestion, the restaurant will carefully manage the number of customers inside.
When arriving, customers will be asked to use the hand sanitizer provided and follow the safety measures laid out in the restaurants to help keep everyone safe.
Food will be served by table service only, with customers able to order through the McDonald’s app, at the till or kiosk.
Customers also must leave their contact details by using their smart phone to either scan a QR code taking them to a dedicated webpage, or visiting the URL details provided at each table.
