THE beauty of Loch Lomond isn’t exactly a well-kept secret - but every so often we can’t help but grasp the opportunity to show the bonnie banks at their very best.

All of the pictures on these pages were captured by talented photographer Graham Christie, who works as a project director in the construction industry but spends much of his free time combining his passion for the great outdoors with his enthusiasm for photography.

Unsurprisingly. Graham, who lives in Helensburgh, is a frequent visitor to Loch Lomond and the surrounding area, no matter the weather or the time of year.

And while summer is an especially fruitful time as far as great pictures are concerned, the photos featured here confirm what many photographers already know - that no matter the weather, or the season, there are always lots of opportunities for great pictures.

Remember that we’re always on the lookout for spectacular photos of the area’s scenery - whether that’s of Loch Lomond, or any photogenic spot in Dumbarton, the Vale and the surrounding area.

Email your submissions to editorial@dumbarton reporter.co.uk, with brief details of when, where and by whom they were taken, and we’ll publish as many as we can in future editions of the Reporter.
