Rangers TV's new lead commentator Clive Tyldesley has shared a behind the scenes pic of preparation for his debut on club telly on Sunday.

The broadcaster joins the Ibrox output alongside Tom Miller for Sunday's home clash against St Mirren, his first on the channel after a shakeup by the club. Posting on his Instagram story, Tyldesley showed off his list of St Mirren players and fact sheets he had prepared for the Buddies.

And he revealed it's the first time he's ever done notes on the Paisley outfit. Posting a snap, Tyldesley said: "First St Mirren chart I've ever prepared". On the piece of paper he has written down notes including Richard Tait and his goal scoring exploits against Livingston last week, captain Sam Foley and former Celtic youngster Marcus Fraser.

Tyldesley was confirmed as the new commentator for the Light Blues in a big news announcement last week which also revealed the new pundits and analysts who would also be working on match days. Legends including Walter Smith and Graeme Souness will be involved through the season as will Neil McCann, Alex Rae and Scotland Women's head coach Shelley Kerr.

ITV's iconic voice Tyldesley is known for his meticulous planning and prep ahead of matches having worked on England internationals, Champions League matches and cup finals throughout his career.
