A MAN was arrested near Luss after police allegedly found he had been driving while under the influence of drugs.
Officers pulled over a Renault Clio on the A82 near the Loch Lomondside village at around 10pm on Saturday, August 1 and immediately became suspicious that the driver had been at the wheel whilst unfit through illegal substances.
The man, a 28-year-old from Hamilton, was arrested, and police reportedly identified that he had taken both cannabis and cocaine in amounts suspected to be enough to impair his ability to drive safely.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
