A boat and trailer have been deliberately set on fire in a Balloch car park - sparking a police probe into a series of similar incidents.
The incident, which occurred around 4.15am on Wednesday, August 26 in a car park off Woodburn Avenue , is one of three in the Haldane area in the past month which police are treating as wilful fire-raising.
The first, which occurred around 3.30am on Sunday, July 26, saw a shed intentionally set on fire on Carmona Drive.
Then, on the same day at around 11pm, a car was intentionally set on fire outside Cranloch Court.

Each of these incidents caused several thousands of pounds worth of damage, though no-one was injured or harmed as a result of the fires.
Following a joint investigation between Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue, the three fires are being treated as wilful.
Detective Constable Robert Struthers of Clydebank Police Station said; “I am asking the local community who may have information relating to these fires, particularly anyone observed acting suspiciously in the area around these times, to contact Clydebank CID on 101 quoting the reference LA05920820."
Alternatively, people can contact Crimestoppers, where information can be given anonymously, on 0800 555 111 - again quoting the reference LA05920820.
