The Clydebank Community Sports Hub (CCSH) will reopen for indoor classes with a timetable to meet the health and fitness needs of the local community.

Despite the outdoor pitches being reopened in late July, indoor facilities will only now reopen.

CCSH are excited to be able to offer a host of classes and ‘camps’ for youngsters, teens and the elderly, starting from the beginning of October.

The hub will offer an October multi activity camp for primary aged children. The aim is to teach children new skills, make new friends and stay active in a safe and hygienic atmosphere. The camp will run 9-4pm the full October week and costs £45 per child. Children are asked to bring a mask, snacks, packed lunch and identifiable water bottle, CCSH Kids instructors will have a covid risk assessment and cleaning schedule in place.

Football will also feature on the timetable, with under 13s and 14s offered ‘SUPER 6’s Friday Night Community Football’. The six-a-side league will cost £10 per head to participate in the five week league, with a maximum of seven players per team.

A dance class will also be hosted each Friday, offering the chance for low impact, gentle movement based dance, followed by tea, coffee and socialising. The class will run on Fridays, costing £2.

The Dean Street hub has also organised a Teens Bootcamp, aiming of helping teams set and achieve new fitness goals. The outdoor and indoor classes will include cardio and strength exercises and offer support from trained fitness professions. Classes will start on October 7, 4.30-5.30pm.

The Hub have stressed the importance of adhering to Sottish government guidelines and asks that everyone attends with a mask, anyone experiencing symptoms should not attend. For more information, contact jack.ccsh@gmail.com.
