NICOLA Sturgeon announced two key changes to guidance on face coverings during a virtual parliamentary update this afternoon.

The First Minister confirmed one change on easing of the rules – stating that couples will no longer need to wear a face covering during a marriage or civil partnership ceremony.

But there are two more locations where masks will now be required. Sturgeon said that from tomorrow people must wear a face covering in workplace canteens whenever they are not seated at a table. This brings guidance in canteens in line with guidance in restaurants and cafes.

Furthermore from Monday face coverings will be required in other communal parts of the workplace like corridors.
