POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a wilful fire raising within a garden in Bonhill on Tuesday, November 3.

The fire, which took place at around 7.40pm at a property in O’Hare, Bonhill, was quickly extinguished and no one was injured.

Police are treating the fire as willful.

Detective Constable Ross Kelly from Clydebank CID said today: “Thankfully nobody was hurt during this incident however it was nonetheless a deliberate and very dangerous act.

“It is of utmost importance that we trace anyone who is responsible, and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to let us know as soon as possible.
