A YELLOW weather warning is in place across Dumbarton and the Vale this evening for heavy rain.
The Met Office has issued the warning until 3am tomorrow morning, with surface water on the roads to be expected as well as disruptions to travel over the next few days.

The Met Office is urging us to prepare once again for potential travel disruption and local flooding.
What to expect:
• Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
• Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
• Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
