SEVEN new jobs are to be created in Dumbarton with the opening of a new shop on an industrial estate in the town.
Toolstation's store at the Broadmeadow Trade Park on Birch Road will open to trade and retail customers on Monday, December 7.
The shop is among the retailers allowed to open under the Scottish Government's Level 4 coronavirus restrictions.
It qualifies as an "essential retailer" and as a "critical part of the supply chain for the construction industry".
The store will operate a 1m social distancing policy, with a door monitoring and queuing system in place, and all employees will be supplied with PPE.
Store manager Steven McColl said: “We are pleased to be opening the new store and supporting local tradespeople, DIYers and home builders."
Opening hours at the shop, at Unit 17a on Birch Road, are 7am-8pm Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm Saturday and 9am-4pm on Sunday.
