Scottish Primark stores will extend their working hours ahead of Christmas. 

Store bosses confirmed they will review the store hours for when the level four restrictions are lifted in part of Scotland, including Glasgow. 

It has not been ruled out that some stores might remain open for a 24-hour period, the Daily Record reports

In England, a number of stores were opened for 24-hours after the end of the four-week lockdown on Thursday. 

Queues were formed from midnight at stores south of the border including branches in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Gateshead.

Non-essential retail has remained closed in Glasgow and 10 other council areas. 

But the full details of the opening times will be revealed closer to the reopening of retail.
