GROUPS, businesses and even football teams stood up to do their bit for their community over the Christmas period.
West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare received help and donations from local groups including members of Vale of Leven FC, The Stables Restaurant in Balloch, Key Housing Dumbarton, Milngavie Clinic and Chivas Brothers.
The volunteers at the Foodshare were hard at work before closing for the Christmas holidays, with helpers distributing double amounts of food as well as Farmfoods vouchers to those that needed them.
