POLICE in Dumbarton were called to a report of a man allegedly trying to break into a vehicle parked outside a supermarket in the town.
Officers went to the car park outside the Lidl supermarket in Castle Street at 11.45pm on Friday, February 5 and reportedly saw a man standing next to a vehicle and trying to smash the windscreen.

A 47-year-old man from the Clydebank area was arrested and is now the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.
