THE charity which runs Robin House children's hospice in Balloch has received a memorable donation from Scots pop star Lewis Capaldi.

Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) was given a memorable "stars and stripes" outfit by the singer-songwriter.

The charity will use the outfit in an auction to raise vital funds for the children and families it supports across Scotland.

Taking to Facebook, CHAS said: "We are thrilled (and a little bit star-struck!) to share that Lewis Capaldi has donated one of his most memorable outfits to be auctioned by CHAS!"

The Scottish singing legend posed in the USA-themed onesie and comical gold sunglasses on his personal Instagram page to mark his power ballad, ‘Someone You Loved’ storming the US Billboard singles chart in 2019, stating at the time: “I think we can all agree this means I’m well on my way to becoming America’s sweetheart and I for one am over the moon. x”
