People in Dumbarton have been blessed with a fortnight of glorious sunshine, but the warm spell is expected to end with a thunderstorm warning issued.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunder and lightning from tomorrow (Tuesday, July 27) at lunchtime across West Dunbartonshire - which includes Dumbarton.

They say there is a chance that homes and business could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings possible from flood water, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.
It's estimated that in some areas, 40-60mm of rain could fall in under two hours.
Those travelling tomorrow are asked to be aware and plan an alternative route if possible.
