A COMMUNITY group in the Vale of Leven will be delivering afternoon teas to vulnerable older people in the area later this month.
Age Concern Vale of Leven has been awarded cash from West Dunbartonshire Council's community budgeting process to provide afternoon teas to members of the group.
They will work in partnership with the Phoenix Community Cafe and their volunteers to provide hampers with contents for an afternoon tea and also a healthy meal freshly prepared by chefs for each member.
Each afternoon tea will be delivered to their door on August 25 between 1pm and 3pm as this would be when they usually meet.
Kate Coleman, the acting chair of the group, is asking members to contact her on 07477 803808 between 1-3pm in the week leading up to August 18 to confirm their slot and their address for delivery.
