YOUNGSTERS from across Dumbarton and the Vale have been taking part in fun arts and crafts sessions as part of West Dunbartonshire Council’s Summer Extravaganza.

Clifftop Projects held workshops including fabric painting, scrunchie making, creative walks and dance sessions for hundreds of children every week.

Lottie Barker, artistic director of Clifftop Projects, said: “We have absolutely loved being part of the council’s summer programme for five weeks this summer.

“I’ve loved seeing local young people have the opportunity to let their imaginations run wild and see what they can create.

“I’m also passionate about showing the arts as a viable career option for young people, which is why most of the freelancers I’ve employed to teach or assist have been young artists under 25, creating paid work for them here in West Dunbartonshire.”
