A BONHILL man has been banned from the roads after he pleaded guilty to his third drinkdriving offence.
George Graham, 45, of Napierston Road, pleaded guilty at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Thursday to driving while over the limit in Northfield Drive and Third Avenue on October 21, 2019.
He supplied a breath sample with a reading of 37 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood – the limit in Scotland is 22 microgrammes.
Kenny McGowan, defending, said the three offences on his client’s record were committed over an 18-year spell.
Deferring sentence for reports, Sheriff Hendry told Graham: “Your offending is spread out over a period of time, but the point is, it’s not stopping.”
Graham was handed an interim driving ban until sentencing next month.
