A WOMAN who went into a Dumbarton primary school and assaulted a 10-year-old boy has been admonished at the town’s sheriff court.

Michelle Ruine, of Perray Avenue, Dumbarton, had been ordered to be of good behaviour after admitting going into the school on September 19, 2019, seizing the boy by the arm, causing him to fall to the ground, pulling him into a classroom, detaining him against his will and pushing him on the body, all to his injury.

The Reporter is not identifying the school to protect the identity of the child.

At Dumbarton Sheriff Court on August 27, Sheriff William Gallacher told the 47-year-old:

“This was the opposite of a trivial matter. You have done what I asked of you.

“This was an extraordinary event, something I still don’t grasp your involvement in.

While I repeat this was a serious matter, you’re admonished.

“You must not be involved in anything like this ever again.”
