Two men have been arrested following an alleged serious assault in the early hours of Sunday morning [September 12].
A 58-year-old and an 18-year-old have been charged in connection to the incident where two men were allegedly assaulted near Castle Street in Dumbarton.
Two men in their 50s were assaulted as they walked past Lidl.
Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland can confirm that two men have been charged in connection with the serious assault of two men which happened in Dumbarton.
"The incident happened on Castle Street around 1.20 am on Sunday, September 12 2021, when two men, aged 57 and 58, were assaulted as they walked along the street near the Lidl car park.
"Two men, aged 58 and 18 have been charged in connection with the incident and are due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on October 20 2021."
