THREE men have appeared in court in connection with an incident in Dumbarton at the weekend.
James Stewart, 37, of Edinburgh, Thomas Stewart, 38, of Fife, and Thomas Stewart, 19, of Edinburgh, appeared in private at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on October 12.
All three are facing charges of alleged mobbing and rioting.
The three men made no pleas or declarations and were all committed for further examination. They were released on bail and the case will call again at a later date.
Police were called to an incident in the Dennystoun Forge area of Dumbarton around 5pm on October 10.
Two men, aged 25 and 23, were reportedly taken to hospital.
