A Dumbarton family is appealing for help locating their beloved Akita who disappeared almost a week ago.
Two-year-old Bear is thought to have run out of an open door at a property in Bellsmyre on Saturday, October 16.
He was then reportedly seen heading towards the New Dumbarton Cemetery.
Missing posters have been created and over 500 people have shared social media posts about him but there has been no sight of him since.
Bear is white all over and has an injury to his back right ankle that causes it to pop when he walks.
His owners describe him as a gentle giant, but they ask that he is not approached to avoid spooking him.
He also hates the rain so may be hiding out in bushes.
Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the police on 101 or family on 07842 993406.
