Firefighters were called to a fire in a property in Alexandria last night.
One person was rushed to hospital following the blaze on Gray Street.
Three appliances were sent to the incident just after 7.30pm last night (November 23).
It’s been confirmed that one person was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, but their condition is currently unknown.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.36pm on Tuesday, November 23, to reports of a fire affecting residential premises in Gray Street, Alexandria.
“Operations control immediately mobilised three fire engines to the scene. The fire had been extinguished prior to arrival.
“One casualty was handed over to the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service and taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
"Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
