CHANGES to the Highway Code are set to come into force from the end of the month.
Drivers are being warned ahead of the new rules which will be in place from January 29.
Argyll and West Dunbartonshire police posted the main changes to their social media pages yesterday.
What are the main changes?
- Priority for cyclists over cars when cars are turning.
- Pedestrians have priority over cars at junctions.
- Changes to cyclist positioning to ensure better visibility.
Changes to the #HighwayCode come into effect on January 29.

Pedestrians & cyclists will have greater priority over cars at junctions & crossings.

Motorists are being reminded to familiarise themselves with the code ahead of the move.
