A HELENSBURGH teenager has designed and donated a unique quilt in support of a national charity’s efforts to help sick, disabled and distressed children.
Fourteen-year-old Lily Dennett made the special garment as part of her work towards achieving a Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
And the talented teen is already working on her second quilt to make up the hours required to complete the volunteering section of the programme.
The first quilt, pictured above, was handed over to Project Linus UK last week; the organisation has been active in the UK since 2000 and has donated nearly 500,000 quilts to date.
