The nurses teamed up in aid of Marie Curie
MEMBERS of the Helensburgh District Nursing Team took part in last week’s Babcock 10k in a bid to raise funds for their colleagues at Marie Curie.
Susan Hendry, Frances May, Tayler Bird, Natasha Watkiss, Angela Bridges, and Grace Foster teamed up to support the charity which offers care and help for those going through terminal illness.
The nurses initially set out to raise £1,260 - the amount it costs to fund one week of palliative care for an individual patient.
They managed to exceed this target and have raised over £2,000.
