A DOG groomer from Alexandria is hosting a jumble sale this weekend to raise cash for the animal rescue effort in war-torn Ukraine.
Irene Corker, who runs mobile dog groomers Corkys K9, is hosting the event at St Kessogs Church Hall in Balloch this Saturday.
She plans to send the money raised through the event to a charity recognised by the Ukraine Embassy that will help animals suffering from the war.
The free event will run from 12-2pm and everyone who goes along can enjoy free tea and coffee as well as taking the chance to pick up a bargain.
